Full Description of event/sighting: I was debating on reporting this or not but when I just read about the Pleasant Bay sighting I changed my mind because what I saw. I think could have been the same thing. I was scanning the sky as I do every chance I get. I noticed an extremely bright white light just as bright or possibly a little brighter than Venus, but the weird thing is the fact that their was nothing in that part of the sky when I first looked. Then I turned my head for maybe 3 seconds to the left, then when I looked back to the right it was there moving very slow east to west approx: 30-40 thousand feet. As I watched it move the light almost like imploded down to the size of a regular sized star then it just slowly flew away until it was out of sight. I thought you might be interested to here about this considering the other sighting their definitely seems to be a fair amount of activity in our area, and I'm sure if more people started to keep their eyes open they would notice this.

It seems that in American history some racism and cultural intolerance has been eroded with time. The Irish can be portrayed as evil thugs in one generation and 50 years later be an accepted and even unremarkable aspect of society. And by unremarkable there is no disrespect intended. It's just that for most Americans being Irish is an interesting part of who a person is, and yet not a reason to deny employment or chase them out of your neighborhood. Of course that just causes us to move on to target new groups, including Hispanics. And there is plenty of room for racism that goes back for generations. African-Americans still face it every day. Whatever process helped the Italians and Irish to overcome cultural barriers, it has not been as easy for African-Americans to find acceptance. History may be a part of this, and certainly the legacy of slavery opens up all sorts of social wounds that have proven to be much harder to heal.
Extraterrestrials are bound to look different than humans. They are likely to behave much differently than us. They are likely to think much differently than us. Those differences may be so profound that they will have a severe impact on any new extraterrestrial relationship.
So, what should humans do? Perhaps extraterrestrial cultural diversity sessions would have to be held for the entire planet? Imagine a massive seminar for billions of humans (and many of them falling asleep in the back of the room.) The diplomatic process would have to take this issue into account. Like it or not the majority of humans will have to agree on how the relationship with an extraterrestrial civilization progresses. That will be tough to achieve if people are freaked out by appearances and behavior.
Hollywood solves the problem by creating extraterrestrials that fit the needs of the plot line. They are portrayed as vicious killers or all-knowing angels. The reality may actually be more troubling. Even in Hollywood there is a tendency to create humanoid creatures that mimic human behavior. How would we react to creatures that are not even vaguely humanoid? You can just see the hate groups lining up.
Luckily, extraterrestrials will not have to worry about employment discrimination or have a hard time hailing taxi cabs. There would be a significant power difference that would in a sense turn the usual racism relationship on its ear. In many respects it would be our problem and our obstacle to overcome. Fear is a strong motivator and if humans can't get over the differences we may be the ones paying the price.

12:48am Wed. May 15th Got in bed laid down, immediatly bed sheet was raised by right foot, and had knowledge a clamp was going to be put on my foot, I relaxed and "Let it Be". I saw in a vision 2 silver rooms, I moved through a partition into one of the silver rooms and saw a brown human head suspended in air and fragments of things supended in air..it was Chaos and my mind was breaking, I only could repeat, "I AM that I AM, I do not allow you to hurt me", then my dog charged into livingroom like someone was in the house, I immediatly got out of bed and went to the livingroom and a grey shoebox slide from outside on the patio through the sliding glass door and under my chair in the livingroom, without a sound. I sat up for a hour in the livingroom.
1:45am went back to bed, fell asleep right away, Had a vision/dream I was in a white room looking down at 2 8x8 square foot grey mattresses set at a diagnal from one another, had a feeling I was one a bed, then a voice said, "Enlightenment".
4:30am I opened my eyes and saw a small led light outside bedroom window behind Japanese Maple tree, it moved slowly down casting the tree shadow on the sheer curtain, then another light appeared and was moving sideways from it then more started appearing, all the same size, like popcorn hundreds more started appearing then a great flashees light fireworks and a 5 foot in diameter clounterclockwize spiral with thousands of small lights the swirl sped up and shrunk down to 2 volleyball sized bright orbs and flew off to the west with a trail of small lights like a meteor.
9:36am While sitting in my chair in the living room having coffee and log in on to the computer, my dog leaped at the sliding glass door barking again like a intruder alert type bark, I turned and looked and through the picket fence I saw a brown alien face and a black eye looking at me and it moved horizontally out of sight. My dog and me rushed to the front door, and my dog stood at the front door sniffing as I walked to the fence area...nothing, it looked exactly like a grey alien, but brown leather like skin and a big oval black eye.
I have been very emotional, were I cry easy and have been through a self relized transformation, I know I have the Supreme Divine living in me and I am not concerned about the ego, self, "I". I am kinder, gentler and slowly getting over it slowly.

EXORCIST CALLS FOR RULES TO BE RELAXED
The Catholic Church's leading 'exorcist' is calling for all priests to be allowed to conduct the ritual after Pope Francis apparently performed one in St Peter's Square last week.
Father Gabriele Amorth, head of the International Association of Exorcists, wants the current rules requiring all priests to obtain permission to perform exorcisms from their bishop to be relaxed.
Father Amorth, who claims he has carried out 160,000 exorcisms, said his request has been prompted by Pope Francis performing an what he insists was an exorcism on a Mexican man 'possessed by four demons'.
He told the Sunday Times: 'I will ask the pope to give all priests the power to carry out exorcisms, and to ensure priests are properly trained for these starting with the seminary. There's a huge demand for them.'
His comments come after Pope Francis was captured on film performing an apparent exorcism on May 19.
The footage shows Pope Francis placing his hands on the head of a disabled man who appears to go into a frenzy of convulsions and shaking, before slumping as Francis prays over him.

LIFE-JACKETS WASH UP UNEXPLAINED IN AUSTRALIA
Australian police said on Monday 28 life-jackets had washed up on a beach in the Cocos Islands, but there was no specific incident they could link them to and no search was under way.
The life-jackets, found on the Indian Ocean territory off Western Australia on Friday, had sparked fears that asylum-seekers may once again have drowned en route to Australia.
The Australian Federal Police (AFP) initially said that eight life-jackets were found but later updated this number to 28. The police would not immediately confirm a report that one contained a small amount of Iranian currency.
"The AFP can confirm that a total of 28 life-jackets have been found on Cocos Islands," a spokesman said late on Monday.
The AFP said it was common for debris and other items to wash up on the east coast of the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, including from Indonesia, which is about 1,100 kilometres away (680 miles) and closer than the Australian mainland.
It said the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) has confirmed "there is no specific incident they can relate to these life-jackets".
"Consequently, there is no search and rescue operation in the Cocos (Keeling) Islands area."
But Ian Rintoul, from the asylum-seeker support group Refugee Action Coalition, called on Australian authorities to say whether they had searched areas near the islands in recent days.
"The existence of the life-jackets themselves are an indication that there has been some kind of incident," he told AFP.
"And it almost definitely means that a boat has gone down for those life-jackets (to be found). They are not likely to have been thrown overboard... they are quite expensive, and they are too valuable."
Rintoul said the life-jackets most likely came from an asylum-seeker boat.
"It's far more than likely that they are a consequence of some kind of distress situation and a boat going down somewhere," Rintoul said.
Hundreds of asylum-seekers have drowned at sea over the past few years while trying to reach Australia, mostly via Indonesia.
Canberra has attempted to crack down on people-smuggling by sending boat passengers to remote processing stations on the tiny Pacific nation of Nauru and impoverished Papua New Guinea's Manus Island.

A percepc~ao extra-sensorial e a cura pela f'e ele associa ao "Aum Shinrikyo", aquela seita japonesa que espalhou g'as sarin no metr^o de T'oquio.
E associa o advento da pseudoci^encia ("como ele chama tudo quanto 'e metaf'isico") a 'epocas de ditadura, como a ascens~ao de Hitler e dos Czares Russos. ("Nota de Bruno: "Se trata de uma t'ecnica de ret'orica sofistica ("Clique Aqui!") usada com intensidade por seguidores dele mais tarde, o maior nome 'e o "Richard Dawkins", um que praticamente herdou a "obra de Sagan", atualmente este pseudocientista leva a t'ecnica at'e o limite m'aximo").
Parab'ens, Sagan... totalmente "imparcial e isento", assim como o subt'itulo do livro: "A ci^encia vista como uma vela no escuro". Temos uma nova religi~ao:

Mas esse ceticismo era s'o fachada. Ademar Jos'e Gevaerd, editor da Revista UFO, teve a oportunidade de ouro de conversar com o Dr. Joseph Allen Hynek, ("Nota Bruno: "Ele 'e fundador junto com "John F. Schuessler "da "MUFON" organizac~ao n~ao governamental que investiga cientificamente os fen^omenos dos Ufos no mundo todo") cientista contratado pela USAF para o projeto Blue Book, e ele trabalhou ao lado de Sagan, num laborat'orio da Universidade de Cornell, em Nova York.
Gevaerd conta neste artigo que Hynek falou que "ele e Sagan discutiam sempre sobre UFOs - e Sagan era super interessado pelo assunto".
Na 'epoca, Hynek estava deixando sua posic~ao de c'etico ufol'ogico de plant~ao da USAF para adotar uma outra mais progressiva e de resultados.
Pensava-se que Hynek, j'a n~ao mais como c'etico, mas sim como uf'ologo, faria revoluc~oes na forma como a Ufologia era vista ("e fez, mas n~ao t~ao grandes assim").
E Carl Sagan, segundo o Dr. Hynek, teve parte nisso, pois tamb'em era consultor da USAF para assuntos de Ufologia. ("Imagine s'o"!)
E tamb'em tinha visto muitas evid^encias extraordin'arias sobre os UFOs: seus contatos, suas abduc~oes, suas quedas etc. Mas seu cargo o impedia de falar a respeito.
Ambos discutiam horas e horas sobre Ufologia, quando Sagan tinha oportunidade de encontrar em Hynek um colega e confidente discreto. Alguns anos depois, no entanto, Hynek falecia e Sagan exibia sua s'erie Cosmos, mentindo sobre UFOs e seu conhecimento a respeito.
Hynek morreu honrado: fundou um fant'astico centro de estudos,(a MUFON) viajou pelo mundo instruindo e incentivando uf'ologos, deixou v'arios livros e foi honesto consigo mesmo.
Sagan ainda 'e um vil~ao que n~ao tem coragem - como Hynek teve - de vir a p'ublico e confessar o que sabe. Por qu^e? Por raz~oes inconfess'aveis que s'o os contracheques do governo norte-americano um dia poder~ao atestar.
Ap'os o exposto, n~ao seria razo'avel da minha parte terminar o post sem dizer que Sagan tamb'em teve bons *motivos para escrever esse livro do jeito que escreveu. Logo no primeiro cap'itulo vemos a raz~ao:
Depois do sucesso da s'erie Cosmos, ele virou uma esp'ecie de "embaixador da ci^encia", e ele n~ao ag"uentava mais as pessoas que lhes perguntavam coisas sobre a Atl^antida, Roswell, cristais, terapias alternativas... o cara era um astrof'isico, poxa!
E o norte-americano, mais do que qualquer outro cidad~ao do planeta, acredita em tudo o que passa na TV como a verdade absoluta.
E a TV estava ("ainda est'a") cheia de pessoas "m'isticas" prometendo curas milagrosas, rejuvenescimento, felicidade eterna, bastando apenas ligar 011 1406 e fornecer o n'umero do seu cart~ao de cr'edito.
O livro est'a cheio de casos onde o bom-senso passou longe, mas que, infelizmente, para muitos 'e preciso que um cientista de reputac~ao venha e diga: "acordem, isso 'e uma farsa!"

[Nota Bruno: Uma coisa que Acid n~ao citou, foi que o Carl Sagan estava com c^ancer, quando na 'epoca comecou a escrever esse famigerado livro, ent~ao muita da rapugise, intoler^ancia e desonestidade intelectual se deve a profunda depress~ao que esse infeliz sofria. Ele desgostoso da vida e com sua f'e frustrada pela dureza da exist^encia, descarregou toda a sua angustia, m'agoa e rancor nas paginas desse livro, isso enquanto morria dia, ap'os dia. Carl Sagan nem mesmo conseguiu terminar o maldito livro, ele foi terminado por sua mulher ("Ann Druyan") pois Sagan morreu antes de terminar a sua obra mais esp'uria. O livro que 'e tido como a "Grande B'iblia" dos pseudoc'eticos e dos C'inicos, 'e o produto de um moribundo sem esperancas e com medo de morrer... mais pat'etico que isso, imposs'ivel!]
