As noted in last month's column, over the past 39 years I have interviewed more than 130 former or retired U.S. military personnel regarding their involvement in one or more UFO incidents at nuclear weapons facilities. My September 27, 2010 press conference in Washington D.C.-during which seven U.S. Air Force veterans discussed UFO incursions at various ICBM sites and one Weapons Storage Area-was streamed live by CNN-see below:
I plan to include this link in future columns so as to provide the widest possible exposure for the very important witness testimony presented in it. If World War III had erupted during the perilous Cold War era, some of the individuals appearing at the press conference would have launched nuclear missiles, under presidential order, to set that tragic catastrophe in motion. Significantly, these same persons are now divulging a dramatic and important fact: UFOs have monitored our ICBMs on an ongoing basis and have, on occasion, disrupted their functionality, at least temporarily.
If this were not enough, Soviet Army veterans and now-available government documents from the former U.S.S.R. confirm that such incidents also occurred in that country during the same dangerous period in human history. In other words, as dubious as this claim may seem to some, it appears that outside observers, possessing vastly superior technology, have kept a close eye on international affairs during the Nuclear Age and have taken, for whatever reason, actions apparently designed to get the attention of the powers-that-be in both the U.S. and Russia. Moreover, fragmentary reports suggest that other nuclear powers, including Great Britain and France, have experienced UFO activity at their nuclear test sites as well.
My considered opinion is that alien visitors are behind the mystery, however, the indisputable proof that would confirm this theory remains elusive. Nevertheless, the evidence supporting the reality of UFO incursions at nuclear weapons sites-regardless of the aerial objects' origin-is convincing beyond a reasonable doubt, except to persons unfamiliar with the depth of the database, or for those who simply cannot face facts.
Although some information about all of this has become public via the Freedom of Information Act, or through the efforts of a handful of researchers and journalists-including Raymond Fowler, Barry Greenwood, Antonio Huneeus, Jim Klotz, Dick Hall, Walt Webb and myself-the intriguing and dramatic story of the UFO-Nukes Connection is still largely unknown, despite its obvious importance.
In the months ahead, I will discuss a few pieces of the puzzle, as revealed by my investigations and the work of others. August 25, 1966: "Round" UFOs, one the size of a B-52 bomber, were sighted near three widely-separated Minuteman ICBM sites outside of Minot AFB, North Dakota. Officers at one launch control capsule reported static on their two-way radio, occurring when one of the objects hovered over the site, which cleared up immediately after the UFO left the vicinity. Summer or Fall 1966: A UFO was sighted moving from missile to missile at Minot's Echo Flight. As it hovered over a given ICBM, consoles in the launch control capsule indicated that particular Minuteman was preparing to launch. At least one missile maintenance team member was unofficially told that UFOs had been involved. A Boeing Company investigative team could find no prosaic reason for the failures and was unexpectedly ordered by the Air Force to end its inquiry in mid-stream and to file no report. (Retired Col. I don't make it a habit of putting my business in the street, especially concerning UFOs, but as we know each other pretty well, I started with you know character, as I try to walk a straight line in life, and I touched on the subject of UFOs, when I noticed he was touching his forearms, and the back of his neck, so I figure now you did it "and I was just about to apologize for making him feel uncomfortable, when he stops me and says, man I didn't know how to tell anyone about what happened to me.
It turns out he had a UFO encounter recently, and he was with three other men, you see he is into off road trucking. You know, giant wheels, big pick up. I'm not sure on the time element, but from the way he was talking, it must of been turning dark, and these guys were in a part of the high desert in the Palmdale area of the Antelope Valley when they were stopped and talking. He was the first to notice a light. He at first thinks it was a helicopter, but said it was the shape of a triangle. He said the reason they were stopped in the first place was that they knew they were close to Edwards Air Force Base, and they didn't want to get into trouble.
He said he assumed there was a housing tract nearby because he said the dogs were barking like crazy. He said when this triangle got to about 50 yards from their pickups, everything became quiet (the Oz factor before and after abuction) when this thing got to about 25 yards from the men, he said they could see one blue, one red, and one white light in each corner of the triangle. When it was almost about 15 yards from them it tilted and the men could see big window like frames. That's when he thinks he sees figures inside the craft. It was then right on top of the group of the men. Then he noticed none of the men were talking, then he said the craft shot a light downward, and in a zigzag motion, like it was looking for the men. At this point he yells at the men as they were in a daze. He kept yelling at the men to get to the pickup trucks. Then he told me that he told the other men to hold hands as they ran. He said he figured if they held hands whatever was in the craft would have a hard time abducting them.
At the time he told the man to run to the trucks he said he was confused as he doesn't know how long they were there. (I questioned him about any lost time) He then said the craft in less than 3 seconds took off from their location and flew into the mountain range about 25 miles away. Then he said there was some confusion as they drove up into a location with dead end streets and cul-de-sac streets. He said they drove into one of these cul-de-sac roads, when they saw at the end of the cul-de-sac street that it opened up and out flew another triangle craft, and right behind the craft two very fast military jet aircraft that were completely white in color. I know of the jet air craft from Joyce Spivey, the UFO Investigator from Victorville, CA who died last year.
He said when the men saw this come out of the cul-de-sac, they all turned and saw a black shiny long car pull up as to block them in from getting out of the street. He said that he then remembers being on top of a cold table and alien beings all around the table. Now he said, I know from the media reports that a lot of abductees say this, but he said, this is what happened to him. He said that the small beings were all around the table, when one of them came very close to his face. Something Joyce told me about in certain abductions. He said it then turned very grotesque, almost demonic looking. From what he describes it may have been a reptilian. He said he remembers he grabbed this thing by the neck. My friend is 6 foot 5 inches and weighs 268 lbs, so he said he told the thing no way are you going to get the best of me. He told me he felt as if he could break the things neck but then he wakes up and is confused!
This is the second time I heard of the location in the desert where there is all these cul-de-sac streets. I have another carpenter friend, who dropped his brother off at the Edwards Air Force Base as his father is also a carpenter, but works at the base. My friend told me he ran into these same cul-de-sac streets, in the middle of the desert, with what he said were undergound locations.

WHAT I AM SAYING IS THAT THESE SPIRITUAL FOCI OF CONSCIOUSNESS WILL BE FURTHER COLORED BY OUR INDIVIDUAL PAIN. IT IS IN THIS SENSE THAT CASTANEDA TALKS ABOUT THE ALLIES APPEARING LIKE MONSTERS TO ONE PERSON (IN THIS CASE, HIMSELF) AND TO ANOTHER PERSON (LA GORDA) AS LECHEROUS MEN WHO WANT HER AS A WOMAN. IN OTHER WORDS ONE'S PERSONAL FEARS, BORNE OF ONE'S EXPERIENCES OF PAIN AND TRAUMA PERVADE OUR PERCEPTIONS OF THESE HELPING "PSYCHIC SPOTS"; WE SEE THEM THROUGH THE "FOG" OF OUR INDIVIDUAL VAPORS OF PAIN.
THIS UNDERSTANDING IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT EXPLAINS HOW THESE ENCOUNTERS - IN THE FORM THEY ARE TAKING IN OUR CULTURE CURRENTLY, THAT IS, AS UFO "ABDUCTIONS" - CONTAIN SO MANY REFLECTIONS OF BIRTH TRAUMA (SEE LAWSON, 1985, 1987).
YET, AS JOHN MACK (1992) MAKES CLEAR, THERE IS A TENDENCY FOR A KIND OF EVOLUTION IN THE UNDERSTANDINGS OF SOME ABDUCTEES CONCERNING WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THEM AS THEY GO ABOUT THERAPEUTICALLY PROCESSING THEIR FEELINGS ABOUT THE EXPERIENCES. WHAT WAS INITIALLY TRAUMATIC BECOMES TRANSFORMATIVE; WHAT WAS FRIGHTENING TURNS INTO AN INTENSELY MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCE OF POWERFUL BONDING. THEREFORE, WHILE THESE ENTITIES MIGHT BE SEEN AT FIRST AS FRIGHTENING ASSAILANTS, THEY ARE LATER SEEN AS GUIDES TOWARD A GREATER ROLE AND AN EXPANDED IDENTITY, OFTEN CENTERED AROUND AN ECOLOGICAL MISSION.
THIS HAS INTERESTING CORRELATIONS WITH CAMPBELL'S WELL-KNOWN PORTRAYAL OF THE "REFUSAL OF THE CALL" DURING THE "HERO'S JOURNEY."
THOMPSON (1989) SAW THIS CONNECTION TO THE ABDUCTEES AS WELL. AS HE PUT IT,
"REFUSING THE CALL," WRITES CAMPBELL, "REPRESENTS THE HERO'S HOPE THAT HIS OR HER PRESENT SYSTEM OF IDEALS, VIRTUES, GOALS, AND ADVANTAGES MIGHT BE FIXED AND MADE SECURE THROUGH THE ACT OF DENIAL." A FASCINATING EXTRAPOLATION OF THIS WE-ARE-STARS IDEA IS THE FACT THAT MUCH OF THE CHANNELING/UFO STUFF THAT IS EMERGING CONCERNS THOSE "ALIENS" COMING FROM "THE PLEIADES." THAT IS, THAT THESE "BEINGS," WHO ARE ABLE TO COME TO US BY MECHANICAL MEANS "OR "PSYCHICALLY, DEPENDING UPON OUR ABILITY TO ACCEPT THE INNER WORLD, MIGHT BE CONSIDERED OTHER FOCI OF CONSCIOUSNESS WITHIN THE "INNER" PSYCHIC UNIVERSE THAT ARE REFLECTED IN THE OUTSIDE UNIVERSE AS THE STAR SYSTEM PLEIADES.

IN OTHER WORDS, RATHER THAN BEING HUMANOIDS LIKE US WHO HAPPEN TO HAVE FLOWN IN SPACESHIPS FROM OTHER PLANETS IN THAT PART OF OUTER SPACE (A VERY ANTHROPOCENTRIC VIEW), THEY MAY ACTUALLY BE THE STAR SYSTEM ITSELF, OR MORE CORRECTLY, THEY MAY BE THE PSYCHIC FOCI IN THE THAT WHICH TRULY IS OF CONSCIOUSNESS THAT GETS REFLECTED AS A "STAR SYSTEM" WHICH WE LABEL PLEIADES, IN THE WAY WE CREATE ALL THE REST OF THE PHYSICAL WORLD OUT OF THE PURE "MIND-STUFF" OF THE UNIVERSE.
ABDUCTED BY ANGELS?
AN INTERESTING SIDELIGHT ON THIS HAS TO DO WITH HOW THIS INTERPRETATION HELPS EXPLAIN THE UFO ABDUCTION PHENOMENON. IF THESE ARE, INDEED, PSYCHIC FORCES THAT ARE ATTEMPTING TO AID US AND WILL COME TO US IN ANY WAY THAT MAKES ANY SENSE TO US, THEN IT IS UNDERSTANDABLE THAT THEY CAN COME AS SPACESHIP JOCKEYS FOR THE TECHNOLOGICALLY AND MATERIALISTICALLY MINDED WESTERNER, BUT THEY CAN ALSO APPEAR AS THE MOTHER MARY TO THE DEVOUT CATHOLIC (THESE SIGHTINGS ARE "ALSO "ON THE UPSURGE), CAN APPEAR AS ANY OF A NUMBER OF GODS OR SAGES TO THE HINDU; OR CAN APPEAR AS A GRANDFATHER FIGURE OR AS SOME SORT OF SUPERNATURAL BEING IN AN INDIGENOUS CULTURE, AND SO ON.
HEREIN WE HAVE A PARALLEL TO WHAT CASTANEDA EXPRESSED IN HIS DESCRIPTIONS OF THE ALLIES WHO IN REALITY ARE JUST FORCES OR "LIGHTS" BUT CAN BE SEEN AS EVERYTHING FROM MONSTERS TO "LEERING MEN." WE ALSO SEE PARALLELS TO JOHN LILLY'S DESCRIPTIONS OF THE ALLIES THAT CAME TO HIM IN HIS EXPERIENCES.
AN IMPORTANT ASPECT OF THIS, AGAIN USING THE EXAMPLE OF CASTANEDA, IS HOW WE MANAGE TO DISTORT THESE ENCOUNTERS. IT FOLLOWS FROM OUR FALLENNESS FROM GRACE INTO PHYSICAL FORM THAT WHATEVER WE EXPERIENCE WILL BE FRAMED WITHIN THE PARAMETERS OF LIMITATIONS IMPOSED BY OUR SEPARATION FROM THE ALL THAT IS IN THIS PARTICULAR SET OF DELUSIONS WHICH WE CALL THE BIOLOGICAL BODY OF THE SPECIES HUMAN. BUT WE KNOW THAT OUR ENCOUNTER WITH THESE FOCI OF CONSCIOUSNESS WILL BE FURTHER DISTORTED BY OUR CULTURAL APPARATUS (REPRESENTING THE SECOND SEPARATION... SECOND FALL FROM SPIRITUAL GRACE) AND THUS, NOT ONLY WILL THEY COME IN SOME WAY PHYSICAL OR HUMANOID OR FORM-LIKE TO US, REPRESENTING THAT FIRST INSTANCE OF THE FALL AS DEPICTED IN THE CREATION OF A PHYSICAL SPECIES CONSTITUTION, BUT THEY WILL ALSO COME COLORED WITH OUR CULTURAL PAINTBRUSH... AND THEREFORE APPEAR AS MOTHER MARY, SPACE PILOTS, OR TRICKSTER, DEPENDING.

Of course, news like this gets the internet on the move and the search engines were busy keeping up with surfer's searching for UFO photos. These types of things get bloggers blogging, and chat rooms buzzing as folks start talking about all kinds of stuff, including conspiracies and aliens, and government coverups.
Larry King covered the story, and had quite a lively debate with both some of the folks who claim to have seen it, and others who doubt it was a UFO. The report that got the UFO talk going cited witness's who said that a strange, silent object flew over a small town in Texas, called Stephenville.
The Associated Press reported that several dozen people are coming forward claiming to have witnessed the UFO. Those witnesses include a pilot, a county constable and some business owners. They say they saw a large, silent object with bright lights that flew low and fast. But...get this...some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it....oh...that makes the hair on my body stand up....
So...fighter jets seen chasing it, that means the officials must know about it. So what are they saying? The official answer from the Public Affairs Officer is that there is a logical explanation. I guy on Larry King said there were 8 F16's filing that night...seems like a lot of F16's flying...The witness's say that whatever they saw, appeared larger, faster, and lower to the ground than an airplane. They also reported that the UFO's lights changed while they watched.
It seems this isn't a one night thing, several folks from various Texas towns have reported seeing it over the past several weeks and offered similar descriptions.
Of course, as those of us in the know, know...this will eventually slip from the news like most UFO sightings do, and only those of us with an interest in the mysteries will remember it with any detail. UFO researcher's are forever poo-pooed by the media and by the government, who for the most part typically downplay such reports.
Yup...and why wouldn't they. They don't want us to know what it was, or is, regardless of whether or not it is a UFO from another planet, or something of our own design. Obviously the government isn't saying what they know. Whenever I read that a pilot witnessed the event, and that there were a bunch of government fighter planes in the area, I tend to believe there is something to the story.
I dunno, maybe F16's are flying around Stephenville, Texas every night. I suppose. Why not? Patrolling the skies is important. Imagine how many F16's must be in the air over Washington every night patrolling the skies if there are 8 guarding Stephenville...imagine...it's a wonder they aren't running into each other.
Whenever UFO sightings like this come up, I almost always go back to two UFO related things that I have read. One, are the remarks made in the past year by an ex Canadian Minister of Defence, who kind of let the cat out of the bag when he said something to the effect that the world's global warming problems could be fixed by utilizing UFO technology....what? This from the lips of a former Canadian Minster of Defence, someone you would think would know something....You can read about that Here in a previous post.
The second thing that comes to mind for me is a little closer to home. It's a story that happened in Nova Scotia, and in fact began with a UFO sighting not far from my own home at the time. If I had looked up, I would have seen it myself. That sighting, not unlike this one, was witnessed by several credible sources, including police officers.
In the Nova Scotia incident, which happened in 1967, a strange object was seen in the sky, over Halifax Harbour and along the south shore of Nova Scotia until it eventually appeared to crash in the waters of Shag Harbour. That followed a rash of UFO sightings which had began two years earlier, around 1965. Three members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, (RCMP) are reported to have watched the object float on the waters of Shag Harbour before it sank. Navy divers searched the waters. But now, when one inquires, apparently officials say nothing happened...nothing happened.... This story is told in the book, Dark Object: The World's Only Government-Documented UFO Crash by Don Ledger and Chris Styles. Styles was an eyewitness to the event.
According to the book, the US Navy was quite involved with that one afterwards leaving me to wonder why. Of course, the official word is, nothing was found.
What was the object seen over Stephenville, Texas? Was it the same as the object seen over Dartmouth, Nova Scotia in the 1960's? Who knows, perhaps we never will....
