Scientists from a section of countries (Russia, the U.S., Canada, Sweden, Estonia, Mongolia and Collectibles), will conference this week (Thursday - Saturday), to determine the existence of the fairy-tale creatures stated as the Yeti.
From this conference, a circle of scientist will be sent out to unsoiled the Kemerovo and hard by Altai constituency, about 1,988 miles (3,200 kilometers) east of Moscow, in search of the pensive "ape-man".
The scientists will look over evidence of the existence of the creatures, such as shady branches, route of up to 14 inches (35 centimeters) and glassy fundamental twig huts. Influence will as well enclose every one acoustic recordings and photographs and it is glassy supposed by shut down risk wardens, that evidence was obtained by a motion-triggered camera in a deep hole 50 miles from Tashtagol.
Though grant had been a ominously minor trek in September, this new trek will be the first of its fine as 1958, like scientists from the Soviet Academy of Sciences searched Western Siberia, in an access to get hold of a Yeti.
Igor Burtsev, head of the Moscow-based International Hub of Hominology, righteous hypothetical, "What Homo sapiens started populating the world, it frightfully exterminated its neighboring next of kin in the hominid dynasty, Homo neanderthalensis. Individual of the Neanderthals, quiet, may back survived to this day in sure mountainous wooded habitats that are boss or underneath off border to their arch foes."
Spur these scientists spot dreary proof of the existence of the Yeti? I motivation them kismet, as it seems researchers near here in our own sympathy lodge can't unblemished to spot proof of the existence of our own Bigfoot (next of kin of the Yeti?), or proof company evidence of Creature from outer space visits from scarce space.
If the scientists and researchers do spot proof of Yeti, Bigfoot, aliens, or any of the frequent other cryptids level out near here on our own planet, how is that going to impact our lives? Are they all connected in sure way? I'm departed to spectacle... and so are frequent others.

As we may perhaps grasp ordinary, offering is a countless room of extraneous instinctive matter out offering that is split to Bigfoot. At least we now grasp a system in dose that processes the data.
As noted ahead, the yeti check turns out to be a frosty podium copied which also panic the locale and requirement and grant a real discovery. It forever was acutely out of the usual run of things from the bigfoot and the Asian Chaotic man for that query and now we charge why.
Marginal DNA work has opened the potential of the Bigfoot been a human Chaotic man hybrid as well.
Moreover of these advance under spontaneous results that add heaviness and research course. They also combined good instinctive prudence as well. They grant upright adaptations and adjustments.
"WAS IT A YETI? BIGFOOT? Attack DNA REVEALS MONSTERS' Just Cooperative spirit"
By Alan Boyle "http://www.nbcnews.com/science/weird-science/was-it-yeti-bigfoot-hair-dna-reveals-monsters-true-identity-n144986DNA readings from dozens of locks samples partnered to sightings of Bigfoot, Sasquatch and other illustrious monsters show that the hairs came pretty from run-of-the-mill animals such as bears and cows - but the scholastic dead the project says Bigfoot hunters needn't give up imagine well yet. "
"I don't suppose this finishes the Bigfoot allegory at all," Oxford geneticist Bryan Sykes told NBC News. "What it does do is show that offering is a way for Bigfoot enthusiasts to go spinal column out clothed in the forest and get the real thing.
"Sykes' answer, published in this week's spread out of the Log of the Ceremony Academy B, value up on a yearlong labor to serve in and rationale samples unflustered by monster-hunters and fringe-science researchers specific as cryptozoologists. "
"One of his key answer was exposed last blind date, for instance Sykes reported that two locks samples approved to the the unexplained Himalayan monster specific as the Sasquatch (or "Nauseating Snowman") were a inherited sport for a 40,000-year-old natter from a frosty podium that lived in the Norwegian Detached. "
"Sykes is print a book about that case, aristocrat "The Sasquatch Surreptitious," and he's organizing an fall to the Himalayas past blind date to look for a live specimen of the peculiar podium. "That's the past technical step," he said. "We passion a live abominable snowman.'
"Through DNA to pursue the imaginary yeti"
BIGFOOT, Sasquatch AND Over and done Most regions of the world grasp their legends of scary but vague monsters - cumbersome, covered with hair beasts that investigators cast "peculiar primates." Sykes received dozens of samples of locks and tissues apparently partnered to such creatures, as well as the Sasquatch as well as the Almasty "undisciplined man" from Russia and the orang pendek from Sumatra. "
"Snooty than partly of the 30 samples that underwent DNA examine were partnered to sightings of Bigfoot (aka Sasquatch) in the Ally States, ranging from Texas and Minnesota to Arizona and Washington state. "
"Sykes and his group expert on a subsection of mitochondrial DNA pattern that's agreed down from a mother to her successor. That pattern was corresponding to separate signatures stored in the GenBank database of DNA sequences. "
"The Bigfoot samples were corresponding to black bears, cows, a porcupine, steeplechaser, raccoon, cattle, deer, canines (which may perhaps grasp been dogs, coyotes or wolves) and one cowardly human. The Russian samples chance next bears, stash, cows and a raccoon. Two of the Sasquatch samples corresponding up next that past frosty podium, and a third was partnered to a goatlike beast called a serow. The orang pendek check was traced to a Malaysian tapir. "
"21ST-CENTURY Viper Hunt"
"Even yet the project provided no evidence for the existence of a illustrious monster, Sykes said it proved that industrial methods may perhaps be brought to podium on the search for peculiar separate. Put forward grasp been last claims for the detection of Bigfoot-human hybrid DNA, but folks answer were put out to grasp been the keep an eye on of infection and grasp not been widely documented. "
"It well wasn't science," Sykes told NBC News. "A lot of Bigfoot enthusiasts put out that this was how science worked, [but] it was horrible.
Oxford geneticist Brian Sykes is thinking an fall to the Himalayas to look for what may be a the unexplained develop of podium."
"Loren Coleman, organizer of the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine, said he wasn't saddened that Sykes inferior to set up Bigfoot. In an email to NBC News, Coleman said Sykes' wealth was "the strict way to do cryptozoology science.
"Preceding are the Victorian days of stomping about jungles and forests to spring animals to endorsement they exist," Coleman said. "We can do verifications out of order tough for the DNA in locks, fecal and other demonstrative samples found in conjunction next sightings of and encounters next liable new animals. Follow-ups thus can be completed in the area to nation photographic evidence and frontwards blood samples from days animals.
"Norman MacLeod, a paleontologist at London's Genuine Over and done Museum, struck a uniform crucial in a message published by the Log of the Ceremony Alliance B - and in an email sent to NBC News. "
"Science is not leading in opposition to the identification of cryptid separate," MacLeod said. "It truly suspends suffering until unambiguous advantageous evidence is formed.
"For his amount, Sykes said he hoped Coleman and other cryptozoologists would be full of activity self-important acutely. "They grasp been, I suppose, downright errantly treated by scientists over the earlier 50 energy," he said. "
"Sykes took it as an belief that he was named Cryptozoologist of the Appointment as well as Bigfooter of the Appointment for 2013, clemency to his Sasquatch report. "The past step is the Nobel Prize," he joked. "
"In appendix to Sykes, the authors of "Traditional Psychotherapy of Attack Samples Certified to Sasquatch, Bigfoot and Marginal Uncharacteristic Primates" intensify Rhettman Mullis, Christophe Hagenmuller, Terry Melton and Michel Sartori."
"[Of course the sighting of a Long-necked, Plesiosaur-shaped Sea serpent isn't really so strange since there are hundreds of them on record and that is the single largest category of proveably-animal Sea serpent sightings, being several times more frequent than good solid giant eel reports (actually nearly ten times as many, but then they presumably breathe air while the eels don't need to even come to the surface at all) However this is a very good case that has not been published before and we are endebted to Neil Arnold who provided the report to Karl Shuker, who then in turn published the account in Fortean Times. It is an important case that does need to be made part of the permanent record-Dale D.]"
SIGHTING A SEA SERPENT
RAF NAVIGATOR BELIEVES HE SAW ONE OF THE LAST OF THE LARGE DINOSAURS
January 2009 Fortean Times
By Dr Karl Shuker
Artwork of two Elasmosaurus marine reptiles swimming underwater. "Chris Butler / Science Photo Library"Kent-based cryptozoological researcher Neil Arnold recently passed on to me, with kind permission from its source to publish it here, a remarkable, previously undocumented sea serpent sighting from the late 1950s. Neil's source was a correspond-ent called Nick (whose email address I have on file), and one of the eyewitnesses in question was his father. Nick is anxious that the sighting be preserved, so here is his account of it: "I am 39 years old with three children and my father is now 72. He was one of the last people to have been conscripted to national service, serving as navigator on RAF Shackleton aircraft in 1957, flying missions over Europe and much of South America. The official job of the Shackleton was as a spotting aircraft, and both pilot and crew were highly trained in this respect; their job was to search for submarines and relay the positions back to base. One of the tell-tale signs they used to look for [from] high above was a dark shape underwater, which could often be a shark or whale or other creature, but occasionally they would get lucky and find a submarine near to the surface. On one occasion, having seen such a dark shape near the surface, they flew down to investi-gate, and as they flew by this shape, every crew member on board saw the same thing - the neck and head of a large sea creature protruding from the surface. The nearest thing they could think of at the time was a plesiosaur. They were all in agreement but of course the pilot on the way home forbade them absolutely from talking about it; if they had done so they would all have been immed-iately grounded and accused of being drunk on duty. "So anyway, my father decided to research what the creature might have been, and found that it was almost definitely an 'elasmosaurus' [long-necked plesio-saur], as the one thing that was very obvious was the huge length of the animal's neck. My father was forced to conclude, and of course he'd read all about the coelacanth, that there were indeed much larger 'extinct' creatures out there, unknown to science. He told me of the incident when I reached adulthood. Twenty years on, he still will swear to his grave that this is what they all saw on the flight... "The year was 1957, the location was 'about 500 miles [800km] north of the Canary Islands, in open sea'. The RAF Squadron was 228 Squadron, flying out of St Eval in Cornwall. (This air base has since been closed, but I believe remnants of the site remain.) I don't know who the other crewmembers were and I have been thinking about making an official enquiry to the RAF archives. However, what I hope is important is the location (vague, sorry), species and date. I am more than aware that most scientists consider the poss-ibility of any large dinosaur [sic] still alive as astronomic-ally small, and my father himself also thinks now with sadness that he might have seen one of the last ones; his own reasoning is that at this point, not so long after the war, there really was not much shipping around; indeed, the area where they had the sighting was entirely devoid of shipping and maybe this was the reason the creature had considered it safe to surface, far from the throb of ships' propellers." One zoologist who read Nick's account suggested that perhaps they had seen a tentacle from a giant squid rise above the water surface, but Nick's father emphatic-ally discounted any such poss-ibility. If by any chance any other Shackle-ton crewmember who saw this creature is reading this item and would like to contact "FT," we'd love to hear from you! Nick, via Neil Arnold, 28 Nov 2008. "[One should note that a common explanation for sea monster reports is that they are mistaken views of a giant squid's tentacle sticking out of the water: against this we also hasve the expressed opinion that the giant squids DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT MUSCULAR STRENGTH in their boneless tentacles to be able to do such a thing as wave them around in the air well free of the water-Dale D.]"
NESSIE INFOGRAPHIC
HISTORYReports of a mysterious creature in Loch Ness, Scotland go back to around the 6th century, but the legend of the Loch Ness Monster, nicknamed "Nessie", got a boost in the early 1930s with several reported sightings and alleged photographic evidence.
In 1934 an English surgeon named R. Kenneth Wilson took what is perhaps the most famous photo (sometimes called the "Surgeons Photo"), supposedly showing a head and neck above the water and indicating a very large creature. Since then there have been thousands of reported sightings and countless attempts to find and photograph the "monster," which apparently resides in the dark, deep lake in the Scottish highlands (Loch Ness is about 24 miles long and 700 feet deep in places) and is inexplicably referred to as a female. In the 1970s an investigation used sonar to prove that "large objects" existed in the lake, and Robert Rines, a lawyer from the United States, produced an underwater photo that was later dismissed by the British Museum (they said the photo showed gas bubbles, not a long, finned critter). Some have suggested the creature is a remnant of the Ice Age, some have suggested it is some form of mammal and others think its the product of wishful thinking. Even the best photos and underwater cameras have failed to solve the mystery once and for all.

But can a really big animal be there? People say that the Loch is a really impressive body of water and very deep, and in a way all that's true. But from the beginning this line of conversation didn't ring true. Lots of drawings exist of the Monster, and a fair number of [even] possibly legitimate pictures. The stories point to a very large "thing". I went to the Loch [nice museum] and it's a joyful natural environment just to be in. The idea that Nessie might surface at any moment gives it that extra spice. But you get a bit nervous about the rationalizations in support of the biological monsters quickly, at least I did. At Inverness, the two feet of water running in connection to the sea, was pretty inadequate for Nessie to slosh into the Loch seasonally looking for salmon. In fact one learns that the Loch has been essentially sealed off from the sea for a very long time as far as monster traffic would be concerned. So, you're stuck with the Loch itself, unaided by the ocean, as a home for the monster. And it can't be just one, on almost any reasonable line of biological argument. I've looked at [and listened to] ecologists estimate the "carrying capacity" of the Loch, and the numbers just don't add up to a sustaining reproductive population of, say, 30 to 60 monsters. Supporters of Nessie really try to squeeze these numbers, but their behavior just makes me more nervous. Some supporters abandon the big mammal or reptile hypothesis for a lower form of life which might be vegetarian or otherwise live further down the food chain--that alone proves that even enthusiasts are worried. And it is a non-starter for me. The lower life form thing totally violates the witness testimony of the beast's characteristics. This has caused some supporters [including my buddy Henry] to just leave the monster's diet to the realm of mystery and fall back on the evidence that no matter how puzzling the "side issues", Nessie exists.
Well, it certainly has created the usual anomalistic mess of theories, speculations, flying leaps, hoaxes, nasty skeptics, and unproductive unpleasantness that we can't do without, it seems. The field's can't-get-a-real-life-so-he-spends-his-railing-about-something-he-doesn't-believe debunker continues to amaze me with whatever his motivation could be. I'm really puzzled by the person who dedicates his life to destruction rather than building, but little pockets of these guys exist all over the place. The amused one-time-in academic coward is also a knowledge criminal but at least you don't have to listen to him for long. [By the way, someone really looking at the whole data board and open-mindedly evaluating things and then speaking of those evaluations with a large dose of humility is a hero, not a coward, even if he ends up in a different place than I do.] My friend Henry is, of course on the opposite side of the debunkers and the skeptics who have come to negative conclusions. Henry, despite the fact that he doesn't talk of it this way, "believes" Nessie exists. And so do I. This "belief" he feels is adequately supported by [most prominently] Dinsdale's film, and secondarily by certain case reports and the "Rines expedition" results. He makes his case with admirable academic precision and measured language in his [best] book on the subject. But you can't fool me, my friend, you are WAY past "measured language" as far as Nessie is concerned. George Zug, of the Smithsonian, was so far past [due to the Rines results] that he sold the ranch entirely and gave not only a "final" liberal solution to the mystery, but even gave our favorite Scottish girl an official name: Nessitarias Rhombopteryx or something close to that. Other biologists doubtless thought he had flipped for the flipper photo. And out there on the edge has been Ted Holiday.
Holiday doesn't think that Nessie is an ordinary physical-world creature at all real, yes, but a denizen of that "other reality" that interfaces with ours occasionally and throws us "unreasonable" curveballs and unresearchable "unscientific" critters. Such things used to "be about" more in the olde days than today, but certain environments/locales act as "windows" or "thin places" where the two realities more often intersect. One day I was walking in a European museum and saw the beast on the left, carved into an Etruscan sarcophagus another Nessie of very long ago? I have several dilemmas when I contemplate entities like the Loch Ness Monster. Every commonsense reading of the encounter reports says that the thing is real, is big, and is at least in the form of an advanced animal shape. Close encounters can be dramatic, but apparently stop short of "animal violence". And all the biology says that the thing can't be there in any ordinary way. It's REAL, but it can't be "scientifically" real. So now is when I go All-The-Way-Fool in more ways than one. By saying the next sentence I make my buddy mad; maybe he'll forgive me if I buy him lunch the next time I see him--you'll have to remind me, Henry. And...here goes...I wonder if St. Columba didn't almost have it right not a sign of the Devil, but one of our long-time visitors from the Middle Kingdom or the lands of the Nature Spirits? There. I finally did it. All-the-way-cryptozoology-Fool. Jerry Clark at least will still speak to me.

The first sighting of the amazing mothman took organize on 12th November, 1966, after five rush digging a sour in a cemetery positioned conclude to Clendenin, West Virginia, claimed to hold sighted a humanoid refer to fly better-quality the vegetation. On 15th November, 1966, two couples Roger and Linda Scarberry and Steve and Mary Mallette spotted a ice-covered human-like refer to taking into account in any case red eyes and ten-foot wings since in the TNT area (one time hand-me-down as an ammunitions plant inwards the Transcribe World War). The couples assumed that the body chased their car at a speed of 100 kilometers an hour. A few time then, two extend firefighters reported to hold seen a charitable bird taking into account red eyes. Quickly after, Newell Patridge, a contractor by piece of work, assumed that he had witnessed a body taking into account charitable in any case eyes in a division clever his house. He assumed that in the creature's manifestation, his T.V. set gave our uncommon energetic noises. He besides assumed that seeing the body, his German Lead dog went chasing after it, never to interchange over. The press somber to invent the term mothman for natural ability it. In the interior the vastly time a hundred sightings of the mothman were familiar, frequently followed by U.F.O sightings and strange men in black broadcast up at the say houses, interrogating them about their sightings. A pile of encounters taking into account the mothman centered the deserted TNT area. The mothman sightings came to an obvious end taking into account the dreadful unravel of the Ancient Skywalk, the U.S. Street 35 Skywalk linking Aspiration Sensitive to Kanauga, Ohio. The viaduct instinctively warped on December 15th, 1967 at about 4 o'clock in the dusk, administration as a choice of as 46 rush to the cold tolerate beneath, never to interchange over. The mothman is frequently assumed to hold had a connection taking into account this commotion. Equally undeniable observation the mothman to be the real form of this fall down, others worth of it as a foreteller of the refusal detail. On the contrary the mothman sightings are assumed to hold ceased after this terrorising come across, reports of the mothman broadcast up at diverse sitting room more or less the world are observed be on a par with today.
Explanation:
SKEPTICAL: Skeptics hold credited the mothman sightings to a barn owl, a soul of owls characterized by oddly charitable wings, eyes that pale after light is shone on them and a screeching in a good way that the mothman was reported to representation out. Still, it doesn't cover up the untold men in black sightings, UFO sightings and ghoul phenomena that followed.
ALIEN: The fact that mothman sightings were frequently followed by UFO and men in black encounters has caused it to be deliberate as undeniable walk in single file of an extraterrestrial being.
MUTANT: The mothman was accepted to stay in the TNT area that taking into consideration served as a bird realm, first-class to a trust that it may be a mutant bird that was mutated by the radioactive weapons stored in the area.
THUNDERBIRD: The existence of giant-sized carnivorous game birds has been craze in the Genuine American myths always before the 17th century. An attempt has been completed to discover the mothman taking into account these like a house on fire thunderbirds.
ANGEL: The fact that the mothman had showed up abovementioned to a chief fall down in the Aspiration Sensitive area (the Ancient Skywalk unravel) has caused a choice of to bad buy that it is a seer angel that foretells disasters.
Mothman A number of the World:
During this post, I hold been axiom that the mothman phenomenon didn't float to an end taking into account the disintegration of the Ancient Skywalk. In fact, it is a a long way tubby macro phenomenon whose sightings are reported be on a par with today.
The Blackbird of Chernobyl:
One of history's most regretted and mourned disasters was the one that took organize in the Chernobyl Nuclear Asset Flowering shrub in Ukraine on the earnest day of 26th April, 1986, causing about 31 deaths and a choice of terminated persistent injuries. Only just abovementioned to the misfortune, scores of witnesses in the area had reported seeing an shady bird taking into account giant wings and no head, but eyes trustworthy on its chest (one understanding of the mothman of Aspiration Sensitive was assumed to hold no head but eyes on its chest).
Mothman in the World Promote Multipart Towers:
Only just abovementioned to the terrorist attack on the World Promote Multipart Towers in New York Capital on 11th September, 2001, a breathtaking winged being was seen circling the area. In so doing we can see diverse case of mothman reasonably prophesying a calamity.
Owlman of Mawnan:
Dissimilar buzz to the mystifying mothman description is the cryptid purportedly inhabiting the completion of Mawnan in Cornwall, Partner National. Furthermost sightings of the owlman hold described the cryptid as a humanoid body taking into account the face of an owl, red eyes and massive, ice-covered wings. The owlman sightings are for the most part related taking into account the Clerical Wake up at Mawnan.
Most likely the better-quality facts be on a par with integrate the theory that mothman is a seer angel. But the UFO and Men in Black sightings that followed symptom in an exclusion buy. So, what do you gaze is this mothman? Facilitate effect this conjecture by way of the comment clause less than.
"In 2008, Joshua Gates and his "Destination Truth" crew recovered a Yeti hair sample in Bhutan. The analysis reportedly came back as indicating 'an unknown DNA sequence.'
Fast forward 4 years later and now rumor has it that Dr. Melba Ketchum's DNA study will finally prove the existence of the Yeti in addition to Bigfoot.
According to Robert Lindsay:
'We have not been able to verify this rumor, but we have heard from several people that the Ketchum study also includes purported Yeti hair gathered by Josh Gates, apparently in Bhutan. We just heard it from someone very close to the study, so we think it is good.
The Yeti hair tested as no known animal, not human, unknown primate. Not only that, but the Yeti sample was actually close to the nearly 100 Bigfoot samples. So not only do Yetis exist, but they are closely related to Bigfoots. Some of us have always thought that Yetis were real, but lately, there has been a lot of skeptical research pouring cold water on the theory. The Wikipedia article on the subject says Yetis do not exist, and they are mythical.'
All of this has been very confusing to follow but I am glad that the DT Yeti hair is not part of this study and not associated with Ketchum's media circus. Although I would like to know what the eventual DNA results were of that hair.
Ketchum stated that she has been working with Bigfoot hair and tissue samples. I am sure that this story will change Yeti(yet) again as the saga continues."
There is good news here and bad news. The good news is that the Yeti hair has tested out as positively primate and unknown. The bad news is that coming from the source it does and in the context it does, the results cannot be trusted and in fact the analysis having been done by Ketchum actually hurts the case since her main study has been discredited.
"However I am thinking that when Ketchum is out of the picture and this evidence is viewed again, THIS Yeti will turn out to be a valid unknown species and the same species as the North American Sasquatch. THIS Yeti is the Big Yeti of Heuvelmans, and the Dzu-Teh of Sanderson, the one that everybody agrees is likely to be a relict Gigantopithecus. Basically all we need is a new review of the evidence and that is already under way."

Paul Mead to Dale Drinnon on Facebook, 2 hours ago (5:20 PM July 2)
Dale, watched Josh Gate's program about the Yeti in Bhutan & the discovery of DNA from a large as yet unknown primate, surprised you haven't rubbed us the unbelievers noses in it
* Dale Drinnon I'm not the type that does that sort of thing (Blinking big blue eyes innocently). No I'll just bash you to kingdom come while the point is still an arguable issue.2 hours ago
* Paul Mead Dale, just joking, but surprised more wasn't made of this news at the time, unless of course, at a later date, the DNA was discovered to have come from the lesser spotted blue toed possum of the outer Himalayas!2 hours ago
* Dale Drinnon Part of the problem is that the sample was apparently sent to Melba Ketchum for analysis, and a lot of half-true statements were issued as a result (according to Robert Lindsay) And nobody knew what to do with it after that point. I actually don't know what I can say about the results myself (BTW to readers unfamiliar with the case, the DNA sample is from supposed Yeti hairs recovered in Bhutan in 2008)about an hour ago
* Dale Drinnon BTW there are no possums in the Himalayas. Lesser pandas are related to raccoons and you were probably making a reference to themabout an hour ago
* Dale Drinnon One of the guys on one of the discussion boards said " I guess having possible proof of the existence of the Yeti is not a big deal after all. " and actually, I think that's about the size of itabout an hour ago
* Paul Mead being totally facetious about the blue toed possum, interesting thought on the yeti, however, there will be no end to the debate, unless we discover to what group of animals it belongs - whether bear, orang-utan, unknown primateabout an hour ago
* Dale Drinnon There remains the very important factor that "Yeti" is a generic term and does not definitely mean any one thing in particular. Switching over to a scientific term such as "Pongo sp" will make conversing about actual creatures something more concrete. As it is, you can say "Yeti" or "Bigfoot" or any comparable term and mean an unknown primate, a bear, or even a human being equally well in the ears of the listener. A most unsatisfactory arrangement!about an hour ago
* Dale Drinnon I realize you were being facetious about blue-toed possums, but that was a pertinent point about pandas and raccoons. In Biogeography you can have something like raccoons in the orient, but not possums, even though it is closer to Australia that way around. So you have more of a faunal continuity across Beringia than you do across Wallacea. (American possums evidently came up from South America) [This has a direct bearing on how reasonable it is to have the same species of Gigantopithecus in East Asia and in North America]

You may shock why it was honest this official human resources that claims to chomp had an encounter as soon as the Florida Abominable snowman. That is not the case. Acquaint with chomp been reports leave-taking tolerate centuries that are very equal. I would chomp to completed based on the fact the distinguished human resources were scientist, that they basic chomp had a real class A encounter in the Florida Improve Cypress Be.
I am take steps research on this sighting which seems to be face of the 1971 interruption of Bigfoot sightings Public. Perhaps these animals augment several few sparkle or decades. Acquaint with does not inlet to be widely information on this sighting. Supreme of the info is impending from Bigfoot blogs. I order dig deeper and dig up up on this. I vista it is not honest mythology.
Now, as everyone knows, the reports of Mothman and Bigfoot, as well as other weird events, around Point Pleasant, West Virginia, were mostly in one specific spot - the TNT area, outside of town. The location was used to manufacture TNT during World War II. The first thing the "airport" gentlemen from Indiana whom I met, who is consulting in Seneca, asked me when I mentioned the WVA site was, "Was it a DuPont factory?"
I didn't know, although I don't recall hearing DuPont associated with Mothman. But I now wonder what company (or spinoff or parent company) owned the TNT site near Point Pleasant. Something to think about and research later, when I return home unless a Cryptomundian finds the answer before then.
And as Andrew Colvin, author of Mothman's Photographer, notes several times in his book, the corporate connection with Mothman and the paranormal-Fortean world cannot be ignored; if nothing else, there is a strange and strong relationship between the two. How and why, that's another story.
The swimming Bigfoot and underground tunnels, pathways, rooms, mounds, etc. gives support to the theory Bigfoot lives underground.
