I received payment today from a publisher in Norway for their use of an article I wrote some time ago on a UFO sighting of a triangular craft that Don and I experienced in Southern California in the 1980s. They have used my article three times now since 2006 in a English language 8th grade textbook, titled "Crossroads 8A, "twice in Norway and once in Sweden. This time for a 10,000 new edition.
My article is in the "Mystery "Chapter and I feel honored to be in the same section as former President Jimmy Carter with his quote about the existence of UFOs and what he hoped to do as President to make the information public. His quote: "If I become President, I'll make every piece of information this country has about UFO sightings available to the public and scientists. I am convinced that UFOs exist because I have seen one." I'm sure he tried.
The textbook is a beautiful 221 page hardcover book with many interesting articles and color photo and illustrations. Seems much more interesting than 8th grade books I have seen in the U.S. I was originally contacted by the author, Halvor Heger, who is a middle school teacher. He had read my sighting report on my website and asked permission to use it in his book. They edited my original quote, "What the hell is that!" and changed it to "heck." (with my permission).
